DeskTools is a PIM, a Personal Information Manager. It has similar features as the commercial packages but with a much smaller price. DeskTools offers you the following features:

• 3 phone numbers per address
• Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly calendars
• Maintain multiple calendars
• Print mailing labels

• Print diskettes labels (3.5" only)
• Print calendars in daily, weekly, monthly and yearly formats
• Sort telephone lists by name, last name and company name
• Sort glossary lists by title and by date
• Recurring events in calendars
• To do list
• Prioritize the To do list
• Small text editor (limit of 32K per document)
• Import/export files from/to text and from/to database format
• Telephone lists can be searched by first name, last name, company or address
• Each search creates a sublist that can be saved, printed or kept in memory
• Glossary lists are ideal to store chunk of text (2k per record) to store diskette
information, articles reviews, famous quotes, etc.
• Merge existing telephone lists and glossary lists
Miscellaneous Points:
• This software should run on any Mac (Plus and above) using system 6.0 or higher. It
understands the basic four Apple events and it is 32 bit clean.
Balloon help exists for all menu items, windows and dialog items.

If you have this software in your computer for more than 15 days, please register and support the shareware concept. Registration gives you a free copy of the software and all new releases. It will keep you informed of bug fixes and most importantly you will get a copy of the software without the annoying alert (see below) that occasionally remains you that you have not registered. Registration will give you technical support as well as the complete users manual.
 
Once you have registered, you will recieve via e-mail or by mail your name and a code. Start DeskTools, click on either one of the icons in the previous window and the following dialog box will pop up:
 
Type the name and the code exactly as it was given to you, this is case sensitive. Once this is done, quit Desktools and start over again. This time the nasty notice will not show up anymore. If this fails, contact us to get some assistance.
